General Description of Position and Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Duties:
Teach microbiology with the availability to teach mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed. Science instructors teach and manage their own lab sections.

Preferred Knowledge or Experience:
• PhD or additional graduate hours in the biological sciences.
• Experience teaching microbiology at two year institution.
• Experience in on-line instructional delivery.
• Use of technology for instruction.
• Interest or experience in project based learning.
• Knowledge of safety regulations regarding laboratory procedures.
